Story
Official summary (press-friendly)
JK Lloyd is one of the aliases of Giancarlo Loi — an Italian producer and sound engineer from Sardinia. From the late ’80s he developed a personal language between melodic trance foundations, cinematic ambience and progressive tension, later associated with the European “Dream” movement of the ’90s.
Alongside studio releases, he became known for early live performance approaches using synths, samplers and computers in real time — moving beyond classic “vinyl-only” DJ setups.
In 1995 he released key projects under multiple aliases (including Alex Remark) and later founded Onirika, evolving over time into Onirikalab — a wider umbrella for releases, sub-label activity and an expanding archive.
His catalog includes albums, singles and remixes spanning decades, with long-form works such as H.O.D. (History of Dream) and later editions, leading to recent milestones such as Under the Stars of March.
